Interview Advice
Follow the links below and you will find downloadable documents with specific interview advice to help you with both Contract and Permanent positions, as well as more general guidelines on what to do before, during and after your interview to give yourself the best possible chance of securing the role you’re looking for.
As you will see from our advice, we believe there is no substitute for preparation.
And while no amount of homework beforehand can completely prevent butterflies in the stomach, a little adrenalin is
not a bad thing.
Try to be as calm and relaxed as possible (without appearing too cocky or laid back, of course!) and approach the interview in a positive, confident frame of mind. Remember that it’s not a firing squad you’re facing, just an interview! Even if you do find interviews nerve-wracking, the good news is that practice makes perfect, so you’ll get better and better every time you go through the process.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that you are being invited for an interview because the company you are seeing was impressed
by your CV.
Now all you have to do is exceed their expectations!
