Cyber Security Architect – London/Hybrid
Hybrid – 2 days on site / week
Salary: £90,000 – £99,000 per annum
Cyber Security Architect required for a leading client based in London. My client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Architect to come onboard and provide technical security advice and guidance across the organisation. The candidate will identify digital threats through risk assessments and some hands-on evaluations. They will participate in various change projects and be responsible for creating and disseminating customised security best practice guidelines to the broader business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security advice, requirements, and guidance for new systems or updates to existing ones, ensuring security by design.
- Conduct security-focused risk and hands-on assessments of new systems/services and changes to existing ones to ensure they are within risk tolerance.
- Collaborate with the business to review designs, ensuring alignment with existing security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Define, document, and implement core security patterns, standards, and guidelines in collaboration with the business.
- Review current security processes within your area of focus to ensure optimisation and coverage, identifying areas for improvement.
- Serve as the initial security point of contact for your region, directing any questions to the appropriate teams.
- Work with the broader security architecture team to establish and maintain a standardised approach to security.
- Partner with IT teams to ensure the proper security controls and measures are in place before implementation.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working as Security Architect/Information Security
- Experience of common frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO27k and MITRE
- Experience in using SABSA is desirable.
