3rd Line IT Support Analyst required to join whg as part of their IT recruitment campaign where you will be responsible for supporting IT systems, providing technical project resource and delivering support elements in line with the ITIL ITSM framework. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will have extensive 3rd line support experience, preferably with Citrix, Windows Server, VMWare and Networking. This role would suit someone that enjoys the variety of both infrastructure projects and 3rd line support.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Key accountability for supporting IT Systems, providing technical project resource and delivering support elements.
  • Resolve incident by priority within agreed SLA’s, liaising with IT Technician’s where necessary.
  • Attend a daily communications meeting, prepared to update colleagues and management with relevant information.
  • Review working practices on a regular basis ensuring continuous improvement and a high level of service to our customers.
  • Analyse incidents to identify trends and work to reduce repeated incidents.

Key Skills of the role

  • Proven experience within a technically challenging 3rd Line IT Support position.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with a number of hardware and infrastructure technologies including VMWare, Networking (Cisco), Active Directory, SQL databases and storage technology.
  • Proven experience with Windows Server, VMWare and Citrix Technologies.
  • ITIL foundation qualification, or extensive experience of working within the framework.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience of delivering IT support in a consistent, prioritised manner.
  • Overall ability to prioritise workload and actively seek out opportunities for self-development.
