IT Service Delivery Manager – ITIL – London/Flexible

IT Service Delivery Manager required for a well-known organisation based in North-West London, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT Service Delivery & Technology service, working with internal teams and external third-party suppliers. Working with these teams, you will ensure the effective governance and performance of service delivery throughout the organisation. The role will be 2 days in the office, with 3 days from home.

The ideal candidate will have previous service delivery management experience, particularly around ITIL and the management of third-party providers/business stakeholders. You will ideally have a well-rounded technology background, preferably with traditional and Cloud (Azure) environments.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Ensure the effective governance and performance of outsourced partners and internal teams, with a focus on operational excellence and timely delivery.
  • Work with other teams to evolve and shape the service delivery function to be relevant and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure evidential data analysis and documentation is validated to ensure process compliance.
  • Manage incident escalation and co-ordination with the 3rd party provider where required.
  • Co-ordination and publishing of IT Service metrics, ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are reported with relevant narrative.

Key Skills required for the role

  • Experience with managing third party service providers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience of bringing clarity to incidents and managing them to resolution.
  • Solid project management and change management experience.
  • Well-rounded technology experience and strong technical background in both traditional and cloud (Azure preference) environments.
  • Worked on delivery and servicing of consumer facing technology platforms.
  • Effective presentation skills (written & verbal).

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. The role will be a hybrid working model, 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
