IT Service Delivery Manager – ITIL – Stoke/Flexible

IT Service Delivery Manager required for an established organisation based in Stoke On Trent, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT Service Delivery & IT Operations, maintaining a high-quality of service to stakeholders and end users in line with industry best practice standards. The role will be based in Stoke on Trent, with 2-3 days in the office expected.

The ideal candidate will have previous service delivery management experience, particularly around IT Operations & Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Oversee the day to day running of IT Operations and the IT Service Management processes
  • Responsible for the for overall delivery of infrastructure IT services, managing customer expectations and the use of metrics/reporting to monitor success
  • Work effectively with other application owners and Business Relationship Managers in championing the value of IT services
  • Lead the IT Support function and IT Financial control activities
  • Establish and manage the IT Service Catalogue, IT Service Level Agreements and ensure quality services are performed to agreed the SLA’s

Key Skills required for the role

  • Previous experience in an IT Service Delivery Role
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing IT technical teams
  • Demonstratable experience of managing Industry best practice frameworks
  • Abiility to work with internal IT teams and 3rdparty suppliers
  • ITIL knowledge and certification – ideally ITIL V3 Intermediate.


The salary for this position is up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
