IT Service Desk Technician – German Speaking – 1st/2nd Line – Ellesmere Port

German Speaking IT Service Desk Technician required for a leading company based in Ellesmere Port to be responsible for tracking, Managing and resolving service desk calls within agreed SLAs. The ideal candidate would have experience within a 1st-2nd Line role, be a self-starter with a forward-thinking attitude and must be able to fluently speak German.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Undertake within agreed SLAs, the assignment, management and resolution of incidents and requests to IT using the Service Desk toolset
  • Tracking and managing service desk calls to resolution within agreed SLAs
  • Participate in identification of repeat incidents and the subsequent problem management process
  • Ensure all work elements and relevant processes are documented
  • As required build and deploy supported EMEA user hardware devices
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft stack including O365, AD, Windows 10
  • Provide excellent support and translations for helpdesk incidents and service requests raised from German speakers.
  • Handle support requests within SLA’s and escalating where required
  • Assist in software installations and carry out user administration (Active Directory)
  • Handle and escalate incidents and communicate solutions and updates across the organisation
  • Be fluent in German
  • Must have previous experience within a 1st/2nd Line position

Our client is offering between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum depending on experience for this position.
