IT Supplier Assurance Manager – Milton Keynes

IT Supplier Assurance Manager required for a leading financial services company based in Milton Keynes responsible for managing supplier assurance for existing suppliers by conducting objective assessments of their compliance with regulatory, organisation and commercial requirements. You will work closely with other areas of the business to ensure consistency and will have the autonomy to develop and implement monitoring and reporting systems to ensure our suppliers are compliant and fulfil our statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a Supplier Manager role and ideally have IT experience. A financial services background would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the companies partners comply with appropriate statutory, regulatory and enterprise requirements.
  • Management of supplier assurance throughout the full lifecycle of their contract with the business.
  • Develop a catalogue of requirements to enable effective management of compliance and assurance.
  • Create and develop supplier assurance processes to facilitate compliance and good practice for suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a supplier risk assessment process including reporting on Key Risk Indicators and risk and control effectiveness.
  • Identify the associated gaps and define and oversee improvement activities, in conjunction with third party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure that suppliers are compliant and actions are identified and completed.
  • Develop and direct compliance control monitoring and management issue tracking to ensure compliance‐related risks are managed through to resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on supplier compliance through training and when required to educate colleagues and suppliers on core requirements.

Key Skills

  • Supplier Management experience is essential and you will ideally be CIPS certified, or working towards it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a simple and effective way.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • A strong team player who’s willing to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Financial Services experience is desirable.

The salary my client is offering for this position is between £34,000 and £46,000 per annum depending on experience and offer an excellent benefits package.
