IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line – Portsmouth

IT Support Engineer required for a leading Technology client based in Hampshire where you will be responsible for a combination of 1st and 2nd line support for their growing customer base. You will be helping to support clients over the telephone, remotely and face to face, at the customers’ site.

You will be supporting a wide variety of technologies including Windows desktop systems, Windows Server, Networking, Citrix and Application Support amongst others.

Key skills if the role

  • Experience in 1st/2nd line desktop support covering Windows 7, 8 and 10
  • Excellent working knowledge of virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware / Virtual Box)
  • Experience supporting Windows Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange
  • Understanding of the ITIL Framework
  • Experience with Network and Application support
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

The salary for my client is offering for this position is between £18,000 and £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
