IT Support Technician – 1st Line/Microsoft Technologies – Birmingham
Crimson are currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician who will play a critical part of our future success. We are looking for the motivated and hardworking individual to provide IT support services across the business. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for assisting the infrastructure team by providing 1st line support for the business.
They will provide effective IT assistance to all internal based employees. The individual will also assist on project deliveries and any internal and client facing infrastructure support tasks. They may also contribute other skillsets to the Solutions team as required.

Key Skills required,
- PC and Laptop fault diagnostics
- Setting up and configuring new hardware
- Active Directory
- Experience and understanding of core networking technologies: WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- Windows 7-10
A specialisation in at least one of the core technologies used by the company from an Infrastructure perspective
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Exchange 2013-2016
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Windows Server 2012-2016
An appreciation of the following technologies or Practices used by the company
- Skype for Business
- VOIP Phone Systems
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Dev tools (Visual Studio Team Services)
- Understanding of cloud migrations and cloud services
- A broad understanding of ITIL best practice
Crimson are offering a salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 plus benefits
