IT Support Technician – Support/ITIL/1st-2nd Line Support- Langport

IT Support Technician required for a leading client based in Langport. You will come on board to support users of factory and office systems whilst ensuring the smooth running of IT Services, while also Contributing to the development and future of the local IT function with leadership and direction given by the Support Team.

Experience required,

  • IT Support Technician experience
  • Support all IT hardware, software, and production based systems within a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Management of Backup, Antivirus, Proxy, Monitoring and Patching
  • User account and server log management
  • Management of server room security and environmental logging hardware and software
  • Contribute to developing and testing disaster recovery plans in line with business policy
  • Desktop and laptop builds utilizing imaging tools
  • High level of analytical and technical skill is required, which must be demonstrable through experience of introducing IT Services
  • Proactive, dynamic, motivational, collaborative and able to deliver results in a constantly changing environment
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving and service delivery
  • Proven interpersonal skills, credible and the ability to influence others
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Adaptability/to be flexible to changing business demands
  • Experience of backup, monitoring, patching systems
  • ITIL preferred
  • Fantastic communication skills
