Junior IT Technician – Dumfries

Junior IT Technician Responsibilities:

  • Help Desk phone support
  • Assist with managing standard process/procedures
  • Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance
  • Account Management support
  • Hardware, inventory, disposal support

Junior IT Technician Skills:

  • Experience in IT Help Desk support
  • Windows 7 & 10
  • Microsoft Office 2016 or above
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Mobile Device support
  • Desktop/Laptop/Printer Hardware
  • General Networking and Wireless environment understanding skills
  • Triage, troubleshoot and resolve complex PC/Network problems accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, telephone support and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Documentation and knowledge base experience
  • Ability to work on assignments, resolve problems and make routine recommendations

Junior IT Technician Skills Desirable Skills:

  • Mac experience
  • Mobile Device iOS support
  • Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange experience

Salary: The company is offering a salary for the Junior IT Technician is between £20,000 to £24,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
