Portfolio Change Manager – Business Change – Oldbury, Birmingham

Portfolio Change Manager required for a global organisation based in Oldbury, near Birmingham, where you will play a key role in the change & behaviour management across the business. You will drive business change and communications across the organisation, aligning with the portfolio plan, programmes and projects. The main objective of this role is to ensure that effective organisational and delivery change is adopted.

The ideal candidate will have an ability to deliver across both systems and people focused objectives. You will be responsible for the business change capability across the portfolio and its delivery.

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Owning the Business Change framework and being responsible for the development of standardised business change and communication tools and practices which are scalable and can be utilised across the regions for multiple purposes
  • Impact assessments and benchmarking of multiple project initiatives from a Business Change perspective in order to develop detailed plans and materials to support Systems, Process & People Change
  • Supporting a network of internal portfolio and external resources in order to deliver business change
  • Managing exceptions and project changes within a defined Programme Governance structure
  • Engaging with project and business stakeholders to define and deliver effort associated with the implementation of the project and responsibility for quantifying and managing Business Change impact of changes

Key Skills of the role

  • Strong business change management experience across systems, process & people-focused plans is essential
  • Previous experience in working at portfolio level framework delivering a service capability
  • Experience of managing and delivering an internal service
  • Highly communicative and organised individual, with the skills necessary to manage high level deliverables, and where appropriate, provide complex solutioning risks and issues management
  • A structured approach is critical and the ideal candidate will have had extensive experience working in a managed project environment, delivering business change across a large and varied stakeholder base

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £65,000 – £75,000 per annum, dependent on the experience, plus benefits including car allowance.
