Senior IT Support Engineer – Network/Telephony/O365 – Rugby

Senior IT Support Engineer required for a large organisation based in Rugby. You will be required to provide both 2nd and 3rd line support and will be the single point of contact for all Customer IT issues.

This role will require you to be on site 5 days a week in Rugby.

Key Skills:

  • Point of escalation for all network and telephony technical incidents and problems. Taking ownership until problems are resolved and coordinating with all support entities
  • Maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the IT systems, infrastructure and back up facilities
  • Delivering critical IT projects. Examples include Network bandwidth upgrades, upgrade firmware of Cisco Core Switches, Windows 10 migration etc.
  • Providing management information in relation to investigations to telephony reporting.
  • Experience with Windows end-user operating system versions (7 and 10)
  • Digital champion for O365
  • Strong experience with End-user hardware and peripherals (Dell)
  • Previously worked on Network and Telephony infrastructure
  • Printer management
  • Basic scripting competence
  • Strong experience implementing and supporting IT systems and software.
  • Ability to deploy and install computers
  • Strong Fleet management experience
  • Previous experience working with and contacting external suppliers
