Service Delivery Manager – ITIL/INSIDE IR35 – Birmingham/Remote

Inside IR35 / Umbrella – £550 – £575 (all inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.

1 – 2 days onsite per week in Birmingham.

Service Delivery Manager required for a leading client based in Central Birmingham. You are coming on board to be responsible for managing all aspects of operations service delivered or provided by suppliers to develop and maintain operational excellence to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Skills:

  • Oversee all Service Management activity and ensure services are delivered to a high standard resulting in a high-quality end user experience.
  • Management of supplier relationships for transitional and BAU vendors
  • Review service level agreements on an annual basis, or as required, and monitor performance against them to ensure they are relevant to business requirements
  • Ensure the service delivery of all production environments to ensure they function effectively and meet performance targets
  • Ensure services meet acceptability criteria and business needs, balancing stability with change and enforcing standards.
  • Develop and maintain service procedures to support management, ensuring compliance with ITIL principles and alignment with business needs and organisational direction
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate the delivery of a smooth and effective service over time.
  • Report performance information and other relevant information, including risk and business impact, to senior management to facilitate well-informed decision making
  • Contribute to the change advisory board (CAB) and other relevant groups to provide IT information and advice on improvements and changes recommended
  • Management and forecasting of budgets
  • Drive continual service improvement across the service function Gatekeeper of new services meeting the service acceptance criteria
  • Responsible for managing the service catalogue to the business
  • Day to day management of operational delivery
  • It would be highly desirable if you had experience of working in Agile environments and experience of Cloud services
