Test Analyst – Azure DevOps – Birmingham
Hybrid working
Test Analyst required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking a Test Analyst to come on board to be responsible will be to ensure that testing aligns with business requirements. This entails collaborating with project teams and developers to comprehensively grasp user needs and anticipated system impacts, thereby ensuring successful delivery.
This role is pivotal in the project life cycle, emphasizing quality assurance and testing while driving efficiency enhancements and fostering strong relationships. Effective communication of issues and concerns to project teams and developers is essential. If you thrive on conducting rigorous testing and acquiring in-depth knowledge of various business aspects and systems to pre-empt production issues, this role is ideal for you.
Key skills,
- Prior experience as a Test Analyst/Lead
- Demonstrated experience in manual testing, including systems, integration, and regression testing
- ISTQB Practitioner level qualification
- Proficiency in utilizing Azure DevOps
- Comprehend and analyse technical documentation while being mindful of quality requirements for software development projects
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into comprehensive test cases
- Develop Test Plans and Status Reports independently
- Conduct daily triages throughout the test execution phase
- Perform manual testing across various software products
- Document test strategy and approach thoroughly
- Execute test cases and evaluate results effectively
- Report, log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle
