Business Analyst – Contract – UK/Europe – Travel
This opportunity will require a balance of remote working and travel throughout Europe
Inside IR35 / Umbrella – (all-inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for a leading customer based across several locations in mainland Europe. The Business Analyst will serve as the link between business and IT, assessing processes, identifying requirements, recommending improvements, and shaping effective solutions
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions, using strong stakeholder engagement to elicit requirements.
- Manage requirements effectively, documenting and prioritizing business, technical, functional, and non-functional needs.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define processes, services, and software that address current needs and future goals.
- Support testing, implementation, and business readiness activities to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to evaluate proposed solutions and identify the most suitable option
- Support continuous improvement of Business Change by developing Business Analysis capabilities and acting as a thought leader and subject matter expert
- Apply structured methodologies like SSADM, Prince2, UML, and BPMN to support requirements gathering, management, and process modelling
- Proven experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), using relevant tools and working across both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
