Change Manager Adaption Lead – Birmingham
HCM & Payroll Transformation experience is essential for the role!!!!
Outside IR35 – 3 days per week onsite
6 Month contract role
A Change Manager is needed in Birmingham city centre to lead change and adoption efforts for an HCM & Payroll Transformation Programme. The role includes shaping strategy, driving communication, preparing teams, and ensuring smooth transitions to new systems and processes. Candidates must have strong experience with change management frameworks, excellent communication skills, and proven delivery in complex HRIS/HCM programs.
Key skills and responsibilities,
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with programme objectives and the HCM & Payroll rollout roadmap.
- Identify key stakeholder groups across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Divisions, and design engagement strategies to foster support.
- Apply recognised frameworks (such as Prosci ADKAR) to guide people-centric transitions throughout deployment and launch.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of change governance models (including ADKAR, Kotter, McKinsey, PMI, MBTI), core change management concepts, and industry best practices.
- Bring substantial experience in change management, communications, stakeholder relations, and global project delivery.
- Exhibit strategic thinking and a strong track record of effective execution.
- Excel at stakeholder engagement and influencing outcomes.
- Possess high emotional intelligence and proven abilities in conflict resolution.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Employ analytical skills to monitor adoption rates and usage metrics.
- Maintain awareness of data privacy regulations (such as GDPR) and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate successfully with both domestic and international teams.
