Birmingham Microsoft IT consultancy, Crimson, has been nationally recognised by the Department or Education for its apprenticeship programme, achieving a top 10 position in the small and medium sized business category.
Crimson’s Head of Change and People Development, Cat Halstead adds: “We’re delighted that Crimson’s award-winning academy has been recognised again as one of the best places to start a career in IT. And we’re particularly thrilled to be the highest-ranking technology company in the league table, providing high quality employment opportunities to young people and career changers alike.”
The new national league table recognises England’s leading employers for their commitment to employing apprentices, their creation of new apprenticeships, the diversity of their new apprentices, and the progression of their apprentices onto further apprenticeships and employment. The new annual rankings have been developed by the Department for Education, in partnership with High Fliers Research.
The latest recognition builds on Crimson’s previous accolades, winning a Best Companies Top 100 Midlands Outstanding Employers to Work for in 2021 and winning the SME Employer of the Year in the West Midlands region in the National Apprenticeship Awards in 2020.
