Crimson’s apprenticeship scheme, Crimson Academy, has won it’s second regional award of the year at the BirminghamLive Apprenticeship Awards on the 27th November. This was just two days after achieving a Highly Commended at the National Apprenticeship Awards in the SME Employer of the Year category, which Crimson was eligible for after winning the West Midlands SME title.

Crimson Academy is now in its second year, and the academy makes up over 20% of the staff at Crimson. With both Software Testing and Business Analyst apprentices, the apprenticeship scheme aims to solve Crimson’s business problem when sourcing Microsoft Dynamics 365 consultants.

Cat Halstead, Head of Crimson Academy stated – “Working closely with our training provider Digital Native, our degree apprenticeship programme Crimson Academy is at the heart of our strategic growth plan and the entire organisation is vested in their success. It is a privilege to share their journey.”

2020 has been a momentous year for Crimson Academy, with an award-winning programme and a growing cohort. Find out more about the scheme from our 2020 cohort or visit the Academy webpage here.
