Test Analyst – Systems Integration Testing – Birmingham
Hybrid working – 3 days onsite per week.
Test Analyst required for a leading client based in Birmingham. Our customer is currently seeking a Test Analyst to come on board and work in a fast-paced environment testing across multiple projects. You will need experience system integration testing as well as test assurance.
Our customer outsources penetration testing and hands over UAT testing so this is not a requirement for this role.
Key skills:
- Prior experience as a hands-on Test Analyst – you must be confident producing your own test plans and completion reports
- Demonstrated experience in manual testing, system integration testing, regression testing and assurance testing
- ISTQB Practitioner level qualification
- Azure DevOps (reporting, logging, tracking and managing defects) – preferable
- SAP testing experience – highly desirable
- A suitable candidate must be able to work concurrently on multiple small to large scale projects
- Gain great experience understanding how Testing plays a pivotal role in the project delivery lifecycle.
- Interact successfully with other team members and build strong relationships with development teams and product owners
- Comprehend and analyse technical documentation while being mindful of quality requirements for software development projects
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into comprehensive test cases
- Report, log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify risks and issues where appropriate
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills – verbal, written and verbal
Salary – our client is offering a salary of up to £36,000 per annum for this opportunity
