Crimson-launch-FinTech-Recruitment-PracticeCrimson is delighted to officially announce that it has launched its new FinTech Practice.

The Practice is the latest sector-focused range of services to be added to the organisation’s IT recruitment business, and it will chiefly concentrate on supplying experienced and expert IT candidates for FinTech jobs in London.

Spearheaded by FinTech Practice Lead Gary Wills, who has built a strong portfolio of clients among FinTech companies, financial institutions, and digital challenger banks over the past three years, the Practice aims to deliver the best technical knowledge, leading market insights, and the highest-quality candidates to its clients.

Gary said: “As my clients, colleagues, and contacts know, I’m passionate about financial technology and the innovative solutions that are emerging and flourishing in the FinTech sector every day. It feels great that Crimson are providing the talent to make these ideas happen.

“Over the next few years, I plan to embed the FinTech Practice further into the financial technology community around the UK, grow our client base, and have some fun whilst we do it.”

Rob Mallaband, Managing Director of Crimson, said: “In terms of IT recruitment, FinTech is a rapidly growing market place so, after considerable research and planning, we have made it one of the core investments and pillars of our long-term strategy. We feel that our experience with our financial services clients, and our agility, will enable us to rapidly meet the needs of organisations in the FinTech sector. It has been good to see the way Gary and the wider team have embraced this opportunity.”

Over the next 12 months, Gary is planning to hold a series of thought-leadership and networking events for FinTech visionaries. Crimson will also be producing market insight reports that will share useful intelligence for hiring managers and candidates seeking IT jobs within FinTech companies.

Crimson has already built up a good reputation within FinTech and in the wider financial services industry. Here’s what our clients have to say about us:

Bill Suglani, Finance Director at FinTech industry regulator and Crimson client Open Banking, said: “It’s been a pleasure working with Gary and the team at Crimson over the past year. In my opinion, they have applied themselves to really understand our requirements, and have invested time in maintaining a high-quality candidate care process, especially when compared with other IT recruitment agencies operating around the FinTech sector. Their approach is consultative and straight-talking, and it’s clear that their team operate within a strong set of values.”

Lucinda Reader, HR Business Partner at Metro Bank, said: “Crimson are an absolute pleasure to work with. They’re really responsive, honest and realistic. They don’t hesitate to help with advice, and they have supported us on some tricky roles. They’re all really lovely genuine people, which makes them a great partner.”
