The Client is one of the largest pub companies in the UK, with around 5,000 properties, predominantly run as leased and tenanted pubs. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
In August 2015, The Client contacted representatives from Crimson’s IT recruitment agency because they were looking for a new Business Analyst, working on a contract basis, to join their team.
Andy Basham, Recruitment Consultant at Crimson, spearheaded this project. He tapped into his extensive network of contacts and had Crimson’s Fulfilment Department conduct an extensive search for candidates using industry-leading recruitment software Mercury xRM.
Within a week Crimson submitted four CVs to The Client. Interviews took place a week later and a skilled Business Analyst fulfilling all requirements was appointed.
In Nov 2015, The Client reengaged Crimson, as they were looking to appoint an experienced Microsoft Sharepoint Developer on a permanent basis. The Client had already scoured the marketplace and struggled to find any suitable candidates.
Again, Andy worked alongside The Client to refine their IT recruitment strategy. He recommended that The Client should extend their search for a C# Developer and then train that individual in Microsoft Sharepoint. Crimson assisted The Client in their search and quickly discovered an ideal candidate.
The Client appointed a new Head of Pub Systems in February 2016. Upon recommendation from his new team, he requested a meeting with Crimson to discuss supplying staff to support his new technology strategy.
In the meeting, the Head of Pub Systems outlined his plans and objectives and discussed his need to recruit a new permanent Business Analyst. Andy Basham and Sunam Mukhtar represented Crimson in this meeting and brought along three incredible CVs ready for The Client’s perusal. He read the CVs and asked for Crimson’s recommendations. One candidate was recommended and interviewed and a week later the appointment was made.
The first Business Analyst that Crimson sourced for The Client in August 2015 is still working at the company, receiving two contract extensions.
Crimson has formed a genuinely strong recruitment partnership with The Client, very quickly sourcing the right candidates and providing industry leading guidance on recruitment strategy.
We have also great recruitment ratios. With each position we have worked on we have recommended just three or four CVs. In all cases, one of these candidates has been given the job.
