Crimson Gears up for Year of Fundraising

Mark Britton News

This year sees Crimson raising awareness and funds for good causes.

On the 22 May we have 20 employees taking part in Tough Mudder. The team will be running more than 10 miles, swimming through muddy water, falling off obstacles, and getting electrocuted in the name of charity. The event takes place at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.

On 30 June Crimson hosts its annual charity golf day and dinner at Aston Wood golf course. Crimson are currently seeking players for the golf, but there is also an opportunity to attend the evening dinner, which will include ex England international and Manchester United player, Lee Sharpe. The day aims to raise funds for The Motor Neurone Disease Association. Email to book places or for sponsorship.

During October Crimson employees will be braving the cold in Birmingham for Byte Night, a nationwide charity event in which employees from the IT sector sleep rough in city centres around the UK to raise awareness about homelessness issues. All proceeds raised through Byte Night and Tough Mudder will be donated to Action For Children, a charity that has been helping the young and vulnerable for over 145 years. You can sponsor the team on Crimson’s Just Giving page.
